No noticeable changes, but I am always happy when CCleaner updates for some reason.

Same here mate I usually find out via it checking for updates on starting the program.

Does the "Slim Version" make much difference? I just uncheck the "Install Yahoo Toolbar" box when installing the program.

No difference, there were a lot of complaints when CCleaner added the Yahoo toolbar to the install so they came out with the slim version to satisfy the complaints.

Just downloaded this without the Yahoo garbage and used it to clear the 'red cross' gallery error (in Bugs) - worked a treat.
