| Bluescreen During Virus Scan
Hello there.
I have a problem regarding virus scans. As of lately, I can't complete a scan with Avira or Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware without the computer receiving a bluescreen halfway through the scan.
I think I have the culprit narrowed down to a certain folder "C:\Windows\winsxs\Manifests\". I noticed that the program crashes everytime it's scanning a file in that folder. The files it apparently seems to receive the bluescreen on whenever scanning start with "x86_microsoft-windows-ime-korean-". Sometimes it crashes at x86_microsoft-windows-ime-korean-migration..." or "x86_microsoft-windows-ime-korean-commonapi...". Unfortunately I don't have the time to note down the rest of the filename, although there are like only 15 of those in there.
If you wonder how I'm certain it's that folder, I ran a scan through only that folder and it received an immediate bluescreen when it got to those "ime-korean" files.
Now I'm unsure how to proceed next. Shall I delete those files? What are they used for?
For the record, I tried scanning in safe mode numerous times as well, but those result in the same problem: a bluescreen.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
