Got this notice when trying to update:
Error code: 732 (12007,0)
can not update ANY of my anti malware and antis spyware or antiviriu programs- what could be going on?

Whatever virus it was was wiped clean when I ran the drive through a different machine. When I investigated the train of activites the virus produced, it seemed extremely simple. What it did was pack my browser's security list with a bunch of things that looked appropriate like pronographic sties, but also included tucked in there many known anti-virus update sites. So it effectively directed my browser from allowing me to see the sites I needed to update the antivirus.
