I'd like poeple to participate in the poll so i can see what the end result is. I hope i get a lot of votes.
Also, we can have a little chit chat about the gaming systems.

I voted for the PC, but really not a valid vote since I am not familiar with the others. I have a friend who uses PS2 and loves it and wants a PS3 and a Wii! Having said that, and back to the PC gaming... when she is on PS2 she is always having me look something up on the internet, so I guess if you have a good PC to run games, the ability to find something on the internet AND play the game is a plus that the others do not have.

That's a good point Vikki Consoles are primarily for gaming, but PC's have multiple functions that they're designed to do.
I think the Xbox 360, PS2 and PS3 can all do web browsing, but it wouldn't quite be the same as a PC unless you had a USB keyboard and mouse to plug into the front.
I haven't yet voted in this poll, as I've never played an Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii, PS3, or PSP. I'm hoping to get a PSP soon, but I have to save as much as possible at the mo

Out of interest, Spleenharvester, do you still have the original 360 that you bought or have you had to send it back to be repaired? Quote: |

| True, they are almost exactly the same thing, but that option's there more for the people that don't have a Wii, I suppose. Or if you're like my sister and have a GC but don't want a Wii for some reason

The ps3 has a web browser that can go to any website you want, so she could just google from there if she upgrades. I also plugged in a wireless keyboard and mouse so you don't have to use the stupid virtual keyboard.

I voted for pc, even though I`ve never played on any of the consoles.
I think my vote is just as valid as anyone elses. From my point of view, I know full well that none of the consoles could do what I wanted them to.

I agree. Although I do like consoles, the PC just has that edge over them, and always will do |

True, mate.
To me an advantage of PC's is that you can upgrade them e.g. better graphics cards, RAM etc, which you can't really do with a console. The everyday user couldn't, anyway. But with consoles, you can buy a game and know it will work with it, whereas you have to check the specs with a PC, unless you already have an Intel Quad core and GeForce 8800 Ultra, in which case you should be ok

| I got one at christmas, so it has not broken yet (luckily ). I think they replaced the cooling systems in all 360's after July 2007 so I don't think it will break in a while. Someone I know has sent his back 4 times (it's one of the launch ones) I'm suprised he hasn't given up and got a newer one by now.

I'm surprised too, mate I would have given up way before then
2 returns sounds like enough to me, if you're on the third one and it still doesn't work, I'd demand a refund and/or a brand new console.

I'm surprised they haven't given him a new one by now, they can't just keep refurbishing it.
