The GTA games are the only games where i use the behind car view purely so that i know when its about to blow up.

I can't use the "over and behind the car" view. It feels far too unwieldy for me. The first person view through the windshield is my favorite view. As for figuring out where the back and sides of the car are, I go with guesstimation. After driving for a while and making mistakes, you gradually learn how far out those bits are, and compensate for turns and things so you don't crash.

I used that technique with great success in Gran Turismo 2.

Well put link.

This is what can be achieved by using the in-car view and analogue controls (ps1 controller via a pc adapter in this case).

lol Rik you just can't help but brag about your super drifting skills can you .... I can't blame you though, if you got it, flaunt it.

As for what you said about Guild Wars and Warrock being similar, they're really not. The only thing they have in common is that they're online games. You can be good at a shooter but not an mmorpg (massively multiplayer online role playing game) etc... As far as Warrock goes, take your time with it. Sometimes your gonna get your a$$ beat, other times you're gonna be beating on other people. Just keep playing the game, and over time you'll get better at it. Alternatively, you can also watch and see how other people play, although most people's play styles are somewhat unique. If you ever get Battlefield 2, definitely let me know...It's my favorite computer game and I can be a helluva pilot... or if you ever get an xbox 360 and Call of Duty 4, let me know...

What sort of games do you prefer? If you're more into FPS' (First-person shooters) such as Warrock, I can help you with that sort of thing. As far as mmorpgs go, I'm not so much help due to the fact that I don't play them much (I get bored quickly due to all the grinding to level up)

I have the original Guild Wars, but I didn't really like it cause I didn't know that you have to have people in your party to see them outside of cities. Sorry for the long post (I've been having a lot of those lately)

warrock is a cool game, I did play it for the long time. I just don't like the 8-13 years old guys flaming around... So soon you kill someone you're called hacker and get kicked out....

Dude you have no idea how much I hate little kids playing shooters. Especially on Call of Duty 4 with their high pitched voices talking about stupid things, making stupid noises and just being a pain in the a$$. And to make things worse, they usually suck at the game and get like 5 kills and 17 deaths or something stupid which costs the team, and me, a loss.

Yes I know what Taiman means, that's why I nowadays play shooters only with my friends when they come over here with their computers.

Only Game I play on-line is LFS

LFS?

Looking For Sausages?

You can have some really good rounds though if you get the right people. It's always fun (but wrong) to have 6 people bashing some little kid for being an idiot, which hopefully makes him never wanna play another fps again.

The aforementioned as the added guys accept said, really, the alone way to advance is practice. Play the game, if something goes amiss again go back, try it abnormally until you acquisition a way that works. You're not traveling to be the world's #1 in a few canicule or a week, it's just something that you accept to do and it alone goes in absolute time, there is no fast advanced button.
