I've been thinking about changing my name on Xbox Live. I've had my name since Christmas of 2006, which is when I got it. My current gamertag is Escaf1owne, which is based on an old anime from the late 90's called Escaflowne obviously. If you wanted to know what it was you could always wiki it...

Anyway, there are two things I've been thinking about changing my name to.
The first one is:

x Bay Ridge x , which was my neighborhood back when I lived in Brooklyn. The main thing that's keeping me from just picking it is that I don't want to seem like im imitating my bro who's gamertag is Ozone Park (a neighborhood in Queens) But it is kinda his fault that I want to change it to that cause I figured that would be a pretty cool idea.

The second one is:

Saberspark, which is a name that I've been using for a bit on the computers for different things. The thing that's keeping me from just choosing it is whether I like it enough or not and whether I think it's a good name.

I'd pick something with Taima but pretty much everyone will pronounce it as Tay muh instead of T eye muh. Which is also a problem I have with the current name of Escaf1owne. It's supposed to be pronounced as
S ka flow nay but most people say s ka flown or s ka one ne (or something stupid)

So I'd like everyone's input on it.

Well your right about people pronouncing some of the names wrong. I did.
I like saberspark. pretty cool. Bay Ridge is kinda dorky IMO. for a gamer tag you need something more edgy. So I vote saberspark. but then again, it will be up to you in the end.

I personally use ThePunisher for just about everything. Except for Crysis which is Physco.

You got a point about the edgy thing, and yeah it will be up to me in the end lol...the Punisher blows IMO btw...but that's just me and that's not what this is about. Physco is funny tho

i go with something comical usually. some of it is a reference to a movie, and some of it is just an inside joke.

a few names that i liked:

PopeRonPaulII- as you can see, a play on the name Pope John Paul II using one the latest candidates from our elections.

TheBrownBomber- this is a movie reference to Grandma's Boy. The Brown Bomber is a type of weed they talk about. apparently it's so strong that when you smoke it, you crap your pants.

ChronalStompage-i thought this was funny because i joked with my friend about my computer being powerful enough to stomp his future children's colons. hence Chronal Stompage.

in regards to the names you've already got up there, i'd have to agree fully with sam. but Escaf1owne isn't bad either. i've always liked that name. never saw the anime though. but i kind of want to :3. it's that type of name where a precious few will see it and go OH MY GOD YOU'RE AWESOME. and it's always nice to get a good comment every now and then from a random person. sometimes it spawns a friendship.

Lmao I've had like two people literally say "OH MY GOD YOU'RE AWESOME" too me. most of the time people either pronounce it the wrong way, (just thought of another way people say it "s ka flow knee" lol) think it's stupid, or are canadian about it lol...

Nevertheless, it's input, although I could use some more before i decide

Have you ever seen the movie? If you ever play Crysis there is a character from your team thats name is physco, so thats were I got that. Anyway, Ive seen some weird names on online games before, so the ones that you have chosen (except for bay ridge ) is pretty cool.

Well I doubt I'll be changing it tomorrow because I gotta go up to New York and see my grandma in the hospital.

It's all good, she's old enough anyway lol (88). Not the first time she's been in their either. She was in there last year because she fell for some reason and needed surgery. And after that surgery she had a heart attack. But somehow she survived all that stuff. So now she's back in there again cause she couldn't breathe. The put her on a ventilator and a feeding tube and because of that she's like uber drugged so she won't even know we were there unless she eventually comes out of it. Otherwise, the last time she'd have seen us was last year.

Back from NY. She's doing better than we thought fortunately, and we went out to eat last night. Only problem with that was we were so tired that it wasn't very good cause we had to get up at 6am and the meal was at like 9:30pm lol.

Anyway, I still only have 3 votes and it ain't cool.
