Playstation 2 Network adapter problem; Central Station.

Hopefully one of our knowledgeable members will be able to help me out here

I received my PS2 Network Adapter today, and put all the settings into the Network Access Disc, details of which I can provide if necessary. The IP address of the PS2 is 192.168.1.6, and I've port forwarded 1024-65535 TCP and UDP on my modem/router for that IP.

When trying to use the Network Access Disc, it tests the connection and the 5 light things to green, but after that it tries to connect to Central Station and that's where it all does wrong. It does the DNAS check and that goes through, but then it tells me about auto-saving again, so I press ok, but it says "Central Station cannot be contacted, check your settings and try again.". I've checked the settings and as far as I can tell they're correct.

I even tried making a new settings file through an EA game, but it still won't work. It tries to connect to the EA server but it can't do it. I also tried on an Activision game and it can't connect, using the two settings files that I've already created.

I've registered my Network Access Code and handle etc on https://www.yourgamingname.com/, but that made no difference.

If anybody knows how I can get this thing to work, I would be very grateful

Do you have a DMZ setting on the router? If so you can try putting the p/s in the dmz.

There is a DMZ setting, I've ticked "Enable DMZ" and selected the PS2 IP address.

I'll try it again in a min and see how it goes

Edit: I'm afraid it made no difference mate :frown:
