Wink [SOLVED] Toshiba Satellite P200D

I have the above Laptop and wish to have drivers for XP. I have looked at Toshiba's Website but they only support Vista at this stage, and I do not think they will have one for Vista.

What can anyone recommend?

Cheers

Hey Bush,

It is a Toshiba P200D, It is Satellite not Satellite Pro.
Looking at Toshiba's Site they Have a Bios & Bluetooth Stack Drivers for the option "OTHER" on the drop down of OS.

Otherwise Nothing else...
Do I have to stay with Vista?
I really aint enjoying it

You do not HAVE to stay the stupid os you are using. < Sorry vista users, i had to say it >

All i need to know the serial number for your Toshiba. It is found either above the batter area, or beside the memory area.
Anyway, for windows xp drivers, I had to run some background about your laptop and grab most from other sites.

You need some memory reader driver, so you need to go this link first.

Drivers from Toshiba site

Windows XP Drivers - Notice: The drivers links i sent are live, just click the link and wait until the download starts.

Intel Mobile 965 Express Chipset [Graphic Media Accelerator] < I hope this install chipset and graphic at same time.>Download!

Intel PRO/Wireless Drivers-Only for Windows XP( Two kinds of wireless cards in one driver)Download!

I can only cover fews, for now.

If you still have the manual for your laptop, that would be great, if not let me know so i can pick up more drivers on the way for you.

Good luck!

Hey Bushwacker I found this it said serial so I hope it is the one:

97379961k

I installed XP Today, And the Drivers that I have some work with it and some don't. My Drivers for Graphics will not work because of something in which I cannot remember, I think it was some langauge component.

XP Seemed to work fine, Though when scrolling through the folders on XP it was slow because of the Graphics

Could not connect to the net even though the Wireless Drivers went in ok

I have AMD Turion64 X2 Mobile Technology
ATI Radeon Graphics
Atheros Wireless

Hope some of this helps.

So If I install XP Again and install these drivers and the Atheros one again I should not have any issues?
Well especially the Display driver, Because otherwise the PC runs slower ... I just dont want to go back to XP and find it did not work
I mean I will give it a go for sure because XP runs much better..

Sorry I cannot really offer much on information about the Drivers

It is ok,

Before you proceed, i just discovered another toshiba driver direct.

I need to know either of yours

P200D-PSPBQE or P200D-PSPBLE ?

Try to look around your laptop, including the batter compartment area.
