Multiple drivers needed

Here is a scan from my Driver Detective. It seems I have alot of drivers out of date,if someone could direct me where to go to get these drivers it would be a great help. Also any suggestions as to a better driver scan program would be welcome also. Here is my list of out of date drivers. Also as you can see I have tried XPC Driver update pro as well.I done a scan with that but it didnt find as many out of date drivers as the Driver Detective,it missed about 4 or 5.

Wayne i dont know whether i trust these driver scan programs
It seems to me that they want you to buy the program in order to update the drivers

Have a look at this Updating Drivers (The Easy Way)

YouTube - Updating Drivers (The Easy Way)

Make a note of what drivers you need and see if windows update has them

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tuto...torial119.html

also how to find out your driver version

On the Drivers tab, click Update Driver and follow the Wizard. [for code 28]

Try the same for code 1.

If you know what the device is, use the disk that came with it if you still have it.

I have something that comes up every time I plus a new device in, it's called SM Bus but sometimes says Unknown device, but it never manages to install it.

If Windows can't work out what the Unknown Devices are and you don't know either, then leave them as they are, as long as everything seems to work properly.

Yeah mate, I always get that too. If you can work out what it is and have the disk then try that, or you could try the manufacturer's site. If not then don't worry about them

Buy it mate, its about the only piece of software I've ever paid for.

It's great for easily updating pc, and really speeds things up when working on clients machines.

Get Everest home edition from here - |MG| EVEREST Free Edition 2.20 and see if that can help you to identify the hardware in question.

Also, visit your mobo (motherboard) makers website. If you don't know what your mobo is then have a good look in Everest home, failing that, go here - SDRAM, DDR2 and DDR RAM memory upgrades from Crucial.com and get them to scan your system. I know its mostly for ram but it does give you some very useful info about your pc.

Hope that helps.

That free program is getting old there, why not offer this one instead using the standalone version?
