Anyone in the UK ever used any of the Flip Video products? FlipVideo UK
I'm trying to find a digital camcorder for around $100-$150 and needless to say there aren't many choices for a well known brand. I don't like buying "off-brand" electronics but if these are well known and reliable I might give it some more serious thought. I think that they're relatively new to the game, but they seem to be alright, I saw it on TV
This is the TV show it was on, it looks like you can watch their reviews of it on this page: FiveFWD - Flip Video Ultra review by The Gadget Show
The other cameras they make are on there as well if you search for flip, it will come up with them.

Hmmm, personally I wouldn't put too much faith in what The Gadget Show say. They praised Sony Vaio and Norton quite a bit after all.

Really? I must have missed those ones, I always forget it's on
When I saw them testing those cameras they tried out the camera and video functions indoors with relatively low light as they wanted to find something good to take to parties.

Well I found something I can't stand. They take separate batteries. I won't buy anything digital unless it has a rechargeable battery. You'll end up spending a thousand dollars on batteries for the lifetime of the product and that to me isn't worth it.

My daughter has a habit of "loosing" them... I think they get tossed in the trash!
