ive got a couple of videos saved on my pc, they all play fine on the computer screen, but when i play these videos on tv using dvd player, their is some sort of purple-pink colour spreading on the screen.
ive never had this problem before, and i know theres nothing wrong with the videos, because it has happened to 3 videos that i have, they all play good on pc, but on the tv, its the same purplish thing that comes on. and i dont think the tv is damaged because it plays fine when playing other dvd's.

does anyone have any solutions to this?

is it worth changing from using rca connectors to svideo connector?

help would be appreciated.

Does this happen using DVDs you have recorded for the TV player or over a video link?
If the former, try another brand of blank media.
If the latter, you have a bad cable connection somewhere or the RGB settings are not set at default.
