Hey no problem MQC, just glad it was a resolved issue for you even though it took multiple attempts.

No word from Mummy dearest by Friday so I made a call last night:

Me: Hi Mum.
Mum: Oh, Hi. Thank you for the card and the CD.
Me: Oh you liked it! That's great!!
Mum: Well, I haven't actally seen it yet, but I like the picture on the cover.
Me: OK ... so why haven't you seen it yet?
Mum: I put it in the CD player and it won't play the music.
Me: Mum, it's not music. It's photographs. You put it in your DVD player.
Mum: Oh, OK let me go over to the TV ... *disconnects*
Me: *redials her number and gets a busy signal* ...

10 min later ... *ring ring*

Mum: Hi. My chin hung up the phone.
Me: Get a trim, Mum.
Mum: OK, so now I'm at the DVD player *fiddling with buttons and remote and drops phone twice*
Me: Turn the TV on and set it to video input I think. Put CD in DVD player and turn it on.
Mum: Which remote do I use?
Me: I don't know; I'm here and can't see what's in your hand and you have umpteen different remotes for stuff ...
Mum: Oh, well. I'll just wait until your sister comes over on Sunday and she'll get it working. She's very good at this sort of thing.
Me: *sigh* OK Mum, call me then please. If it doesn't work, I'll try using a different format.
Mum: What?
Me: Never mind, Mum. Talk to you on Sunday ...

Stay looney tuned ...

Mum just called.

My 12 year old nephew showed her how to operate her DVD player and she and my sister's family watched my photo show.

Mum said she loved it.
She said it really surprised her how talented I am.
A little backhanded, but I'm taking that the right way.
She wants to show her friends and for me to make copies for them.

It took 51 years, but TST helped me finally make my Mum proud of something I did.

Thank you, TST, from the bottom of my heart.

So pleased to have been part of the team, your great Queeenlinessss. And to have pleased the Queen Mother too - double bonus! But you did all the hard work - what we did was shout at you from a distance!
