Get Our Troops Out Of The Middle East NOW!!!

Map Of Middle East
Look at that map.
We should never have been in Iraq in the first place.
Iraq is largely bordered by Syria and Iran, strong enemies of the West.

We should get out of Afghanistan. It is largely bordered by Iran and Pakistan.
The Taliban or Al-Qaeda pose no threats to my country from present locations.
Just as computer firewalls, we should protect our borders from threats.
Computers do not go attack locations of malware but guard against entry.

This fiasco has gone on long enough. If we stayed in the Middle East for another
25 years, nothing, NOTHING will/would/can change.

I am not admitting defeat but winning all that can be won.
Our military has done an admiral job and are to be commended forever.
I would hate to see this drag out like Vietnam which I believe is happening already.
Let our soldiers come home while a big "Thank You" is still on our lips.
I was thanked almost 20 years after I returned and it was totally shallow.
Stings like a b1tch, don't it?

(These comments from a career soldier who served above and beyond proudly for 30 years.)

Maybe there is nothing to debate nor agree to disagree about.
I'm sure being a retired military man of the U.S. and having been involved
in a few wars personally I have a different perspective on some things that
have been/are happening. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate war if the reasons
are right. I didn't really mind all that much if the reasons were wrong.
I took orders and went with the program. SOP you know. (standard operating procedures)
Later.

ALL THE WAY!!!
