God created the heaven and the earth.
How ?
Or do you think along the lines of a Big bang ?

He was the first born of all creation and all things were created by means of him.
That's Jesus though.
And yes everything was created.
Just to warn you though, this thread has a lot of potential to go very wrong so my eye will be on it.

See, there was this omnipotent floating around in nothingness and got bored
and created a big, big, big explosion.
From that to this and here we are.
Dinosaurs roamed with cavemen...just ask Sarah Palin to explain it all.

Look at it this way; Quote:
the earth we live on is perfect size. If Earth were smaller, an atmosphere would be impossible, like the planet Mercury. If Earth were larger, its atmosphere would contain free hydrogen, like Jupiter. Earth is the only known planet equipped with an atmosphere of the right mixture of gases to sustain plant, animal and human life.
Water...colourless, odourless and without taste, and yet no living thing can survive without it. Plants, animals and human beings consist mostly of water (about two-thirds of the human body is water).
| The human brain....
And the biggest factor, DNA. DNA is a full instruction manual. Someone who writes an instruction manual does so with purpose. Our DNA is like a computer program. Every cell of our bodies there exists a very detailed instruction code. Natural, biological causes are completely lacking as an explanation when programmed information is involved. You cannot find instruction, precise information like this, without someone intentionally constructing it.
My point: You are given the choice to believe in god. You don't have to, no-one forces you. It's hard to believe in something that has no evidence, but IMO, god has actually left a lot of evidence. Just look around you.

Anything and everything can be justified by someone or anyone any time and
any place in any shape, form, or idea. That's the way it is. Go with it for
to each, their own. |

That's exactly it Jase, could have put it better myself. Too tired to put it into more words than this as well
Think about the amount of natural stuff (bare with me - tired, remember.) about. It's not that likely it'll happen by accident.
Another way to think: This site didn't code itself. Some chap ( ) turned up and coded it all.

Or think of it like this
Our brains cannot yet work out where life came from originally
I don't think out of the vast expanse of space that we are the only planet that supports life
Yes we try to understand it as humans need an explanation
So Religion was born

There are people out there who have to explain everything - me? I just relax and let is wash over me. Bit like having a bath really - puts it all in perspective.
