Perhaps now a new US President will endeavour to make amends for two terms of mismanagement by the Bush administration. Time to heal wounds and make friends rather than enemies. No mean task for any incoming President, but time will tell

Yes, I'm 23 years old. I've never voted before, and I could have voted since 18 but I decided not too. Then my boyfriend gave me a reason to vote, and so I did for the first time this year. I voted for Obama! I'm proud because Obama made some good points that needed to be changed and improved. I didn't vote for Obama because he was black, I voted for him because of the things that he wanted to change and improve. I know that with me voting this year for the first time, I feel as if I helped make history and not only that but I feel like my vote helped make a decision that needed to be done to help the economy and other citizens including myself.
