That made me think
Was it fate? Quote:
She began chatting with divorcee Allan Donnelly, 53, via email - and was surprised to discover that they both lived in Cardiff.
But after Julie plucked up the courage to ask for his address, she was stunned to discover they live in the same street in the Rhiwbina area of the city.
The pair walked out of their homes and met each other in the street for the first time.

Is it easy to fall in love online ?
After all you dont get to have any of their annoying habits

So if they lusted after each other only after an online liaison, what was stopping them ogling each other in the street?
Propriety - doubt it as it doesn't exist any more.

Its not as simple as that
You can tell a lot from a person on line
Maybe a little more than you could in a conversation
There are no distractions
I have known a couple of people who met on line met in RL and got married
Its just a new medium i think
Now off to find a millionaire
hopefully on his last legs

As long as he is over 18 there is nothing you can do to change his mind. Even if you don't approve!

I would never dream of it
Love moves in mysterious ways
Online and offline
I wonder if there are any statistics about online dating ?
off to research

My eldest (18) met his current love on-line. Myspace or Live Journal initally, I believe, then continued on MSN messenger for several months.
They met in real life earlier this Summer and his friend is coming here for their third .... play date this Sunday, for about a week.
I've been disappointed with a couple of on-line friendships that hurt worse than real life friend break-ups, seriously.
I don't think I'm brave enough any more to risk my heart in cyber space; real life is touch 'n go enough.

I'm not much for it. I'd rather meet someone in "real" life.
That said, I'm thinking of purchasing the following dating site: DateFunSingles.com - Your Unique Singles Dating Site!. If I do, you can register and find your millionaire haha.

I know, Donna.
I'm re-evaluatuing my time and ... life right now, Sista.
Maybe sometime this Winter I'll get it together enough to join you on MSN.
When I did use it, I LOVED it, but it did suck up way too much of my time (free and otherwise).

I met my ex when she was using a friend's MSN and we got on really well and met up in Oxford, and if I'm completely honest (which I am hehe) one time a couple of years ago I met someone online from Wales and fell in love with them, we haven't been able meet yet but when my cousin has his end of term break from Uni we've deicded to go to Wales (because we can) and we're finally going to meet Things have changed in the time we've known each other though and still text etc, but they're in a relationship with someone else now.
I hope this post doesn't come back to haunt me because I find it hard to tell people things like that

Thing is, you can be any one you choose on the internet. There are dangers so think twice about meeting someone you hardly know. Get to know them first.

Caution, yes: But that's thing thing, Sista ... that bothers me ... is that at some point I began to get paranoid about who was or wasn't a "real" cyber friend. It made me feel fearful and sad ... and then just pathetic.
