Unfortunately for him, that's the main reason why he didn't last long at all....in this country you need to be mainstream to appeal to the general public....woulda made a nice F U vote....

Actually, Ron Paul is with the mainstream of the general public but refuses
to two-step with his party. That is called free thinking when he does not duck
nor rise to the same drumbeat as the rest of the Repub's.

I wouldn't have voted for him but he is spot on with the Iraq occupation and
how this administration stuck it to our country and our soldiers.
