An interesting topic and one close to my heart as well.
I am a cybermum
I am asked to advise and give an opinion on all manner of subjects from my friends
Some are in their teens .
Having raised 5 sons i don't claim to know everything but i do know how a teenager thinks
How depressed they can be and how sometimes just a friendly hello can make a little bit of difference...

I try to give unbiased friendly advice and feel a little sad that these young people feel unable to talk to their parents sometimes
Not always though


Why is that ??
Why is it easier to pour your heart out online and thats where the dangers lie
These perverts groom kids and it makes me sick and so angry
( looks for angry smilie .. where is it ??)

We have to protect our kids . there are so many dangers out there on the Net

We also have a duty to offer help to worried parents and not judge them
We don't know all the facts
All we can do is advise
