How much would a decent overclocker cost?

I am currently running from a £30 MS-7255 MSI P4M900M2-L motherboard. I don't know whether it's that or my CPU (old celeron 3.06ghz 346) or possibly both, but I just wanted to know how much a decent overclocking motherboard would cost-and would an E2200 2.2ghz Core 2 overclock well? Thanks

all depends on how much you want to spend. E2200 is overclockable but reall i would recommend the E4300. my company tested 4 CPU's together after the release of the phenom processor and some prices and CPU's and opinions are here

AMD / Intel ??? Quad or Dual Core ???

are you going to replace your board and CPU or just one?

I was thinking about my CPU but might do both.

guess the problem with your mobo is that there is not much upgrade option i.e. it only has 2 ram slots max 2gb which is not alot. Your mobo should support the E2200. I know more about the E2100 series which while are extremly overclockable and energy-efficient but not that good at multitasking or gaming.

this is a nice borad
MSI P6NGM-FIH @ www.scan.co.uk for £52.86 inc vat which will support the newer Intel Core Duo CPU's. just one i looked at which is effectivly a newer model of the one you have now.
