[SOLVED] how much RAM is correct?

in my manual it tells me that my mobo will take 1gb per dim but here it tells me that it is a maximum of 4gb ie, 2x2gb. which should i believe?

What it says in your manual will be correct. What it says on the website will most likely be with the latest BIOS version. I had to upgrade my BIOS for this CPU so if you upgrade yours, you should be able to put all that RAM in.

what a pain in the backside trying to get there for info. e-mail link doesn't work, otherwise there is a list as long as ZZ tops beards to fill in and in between that have to keep re-booting to get info from the boot screens..... WHAT A PAIN!! don't think i will bother now. maybe someone will come up with a discovered answer from somewhere
