Celeron E1200?

Hi, I am thinking about getting a Celeron e1200 when it comes out. Is it worth getting it? Or should I just get an E2180? Would it be much better than my 3.06ghz Celeron?

If you plan to overclock, and you're on a very tight budget then definitely. This thing can overclock well to 3.2GHz so i've read, which is double it's normal clock speed! If you don't plan to overclock I would reccomend something else but that all depends on your budget.
Well first of all it's dual core so obviously it will be much better. It's lacking in cache though, only 512kb so therefore 256kb per core. Just like sticking two Celeron D's together really but with the better thermal spec

It's meant to have a high multiplier. I am now not sure whether to get an E1200 or get an E1600 when it is released

Well that's completely up to you. It probably overclocks just as well as the E1200, but if you don't mind waiting, go for it.
And yes the multiplier is 12x on the Celeron e1600 whereas the e1200 is only 8x
