oh ok,

So ill be better off going with the one you picked out?

Oh right, well, if you want to keep your current RAM then the new stuff will have to be the same speed anyway.

In short, you would be better off with the one I linked to, because you wouldn't be able to get the full speed out of the one you linked to, and you may get an unstable system.

If you wanted to get faster RAM with your new mobo, you could get this, but it obviously costs more. You could sell your current RAM though, if you did want to get that one.

If i could sell my current RAM by the time of this i would.

Do you think i could put most of the difference to it by selling the RAM i have?

Well, there's a lot of 1GB sets/sticks of PC2 4200 on eBay right now, and they're not really selling for a decent price. I just suggested it because when I get new hardware I usually sell the old stuff to get some money back from it

I suppose you'd be best off getting the 1GB 4200 from ebuyer then IMO anyway.
