Ok, I'm finding myself being a stupid moron on selling my laptop. What I mean by that is when I go places and having online college classes, I'm unable to take my desktop with me... Yeah, pointless in me selling my laptop I know.. lol
Now I'm looking into possibly purchasing a laptop, something that is small in size, just big enough to do like typing and what not, and possibly enough memory or hard drive space to put programs on if need to be. I also need to be able to connect to the internet with it as well, but is internet on the go possible? If so, how much would something like this cost me?
Now the main part, what kind of small in size laptop is good, but not too pricey at the same time?
Any suggestions that you guys may have for me?
PS: If I posted this in the wrong spot, please let me know. Much appreciated!

Have a look at the Samsung NC10 - possibly one of the best netbooks.

I have had an ASUS 701 4GB net book for over a year now and it will do all you require, I added a 4GB SD card for extra memory storage, I have no doubt that the larger versions are even better.
Just do your research and buy the best netbook you can afford.

CJ - alan has reminded me that there are some real bargain laptops out there because they have Linux as the OS - have a look at the Acer range perhaps?

Check out the Asus EeePC's. There are different versions of them and the most expensive being like 700 bucks I think. But they are small and portable. As far as the internet on the go, you can get air cards from Spring, AT&T, Verizon, T-mobile probably has one but I am not sure.
They run $60 a month, and have a 5GB cap on them. I know for sure that Sprint if you go over the 5GB cap its an extra 5 cents a MB. AT&T and Verizon have similar overage charges but I can't remember what the cost is.
You might be wondering how I know all this, I work at RadioShack.

Thanks everyone, much appreciated. I'm just looking around and figured you guys would know something I don't when it comes to the small laptops.
If I were to get one, I just want to make sure it is going to do what I need it to do. I know that the small laptops, or most of them do not have CD drives, which is fine because you can always get an external one, I would think anyway.
But yeah. I'm just mainly looking for one that allows me to get on the internet (wherever I go), a typing program and what not.
Also, now you were talking about the Internet costs samjohnson, would I be able to use it when I need to, and when I use it that is when they charge me or how does that work exactly? Would I have to pay for a monthly bill? I mean I'm just looking for something to where if I go on a trip to somewhere, I can use it when I am going places and what not, and that's when they would charge me is when I use it... I hope that makes sense? lol
Thanks again guys...

Basically the air cards are like cell phones. They have a monthly charge, $60. As far as I know they don't make a "pay as you go" air card. As of yet any way.
