I need to see your actual ram timings with one stick in and also with both.

Howard makes a good point about your PSU, I know you have said that it is 650W, but do you know what make and model it is?
If you could put your PC specs in here (you may have to change the drop down menu to "YES"), then it will be easier for us to keep track of what you have hehe.

As long as his is compatible then that will be ok. Make sure you run it in dual channel so you can see what happens. If it doesn't work then the CPU must have a problem with running with dual channel RAM.

RMA your RAM, as I said before I think OCZ do a lifetime warranty so they should give you a replacement no hassle.

No problem
That dump says "Probably caused by: USBPORT.SYS"
With a BugCheck of 1000000A, which I can't find any conclusive information on, but Howard may be able to shed some light on that matter as he is better with BugChecks than me

A very good point was just made in another thread, have you tried all 4 ram slots and are they free of dust and is the rem clean?

The games put more stress on the system as a whole, as opposed to just normal web surfing and stuff, which is usually a good way to put a load on the system and see if it crashes, alternatively there are programs designed to stress the system to make sure it is stable.

@Rik: Yes they are dust free....kindof , the fans are a bit dusty but it's not that bad + the ram is also very clean
@BlackMirror: Erm....it works fine when im not running games with no problems i can just leave it on all day without crashes
@Dave: Ok programs like what? it seems to be more stable when i get less performance from my RAM so basically my pair of ram on dual channel= deffo crash, single channel=bit better but still crashes, single stick= no crashes

Thats good news indeed. You will need to keep an eye on the temperature of your ram as increasing the voltage will usually make it run hotter.
Please let us know if you have any more problems or if it is a complete cure.

Glad to hear it's working mate. As Rik said keep an eye on things, as the temperature may increase. Let us know how it goes
