As long as you get 512mb DDR1 that's PC2700, you'll be alright.

When you put it in, all you have to do is make sure you line it up correctly, and try not to break it. Also make sure you keep static electricity away from it at all costs.

If I've missed anything, I'm sure some of the other guys will add to it.

RAM will only go in the slot one way up so you can't really do it wrong. If it doesn't go in then flip it over.

Go to Crucial and run their scanner, it will tell you what RAM your motherboard can take, what speed and how much.

Don't worry about the voltage, as long as you put DDR1 in then you'll be alright unless you've overclocked your processor.

If you want to make extra sure that you get memory with the same timings as the ram you already have (if you want to use the new and the old together) then get Everest home edition from here - |MG| EVEREST Free Edition 2.20 - and use it to check all the timings.

If you have any problems or don't understand what to look for then let me know and i will be happy to help further if needed.

The guys pretty much summed it up. Just make sure its PC2700 which is DDR 333. Definitely run the crucial scanner to make sure that is what you have.

BTW Welcome to TST!

You cannot use a signature until you have X amount of posts. You can however still use an avatar -- follow Albert's instructions above. I'm still in the process of adding some pre-defined avatars, too.
