Asus motherboards and Intel CPUs

Just a word of warning - some of the Asus boards claiming to to be ready for the current range of Core 2 Quad chips are not - and won't even boot.
It is not clear what boards have the BIOS upgrades and even which ones currently in stock with various suppliers are ready. Ebuyer for example have absolutely no idea. Best buy something else, perhaps?
