Well if your computer is running quick enough for you, and 3DMark06 is still giving you crappy results, i'd just ignore it. Apparently some people have perfectly fast running machines but get terrible results when runing 3DMark. You don't want to get messing to try and find the solution because firstly there might not be one, and secondly as you well know theres a chance of making things worse. I wouldn't worry too much about it tbh. At the end of the day, 3DMarks are just bragging rights anyway. You could run another benchmark that analyses all of your computer, instead of focusing on just your graphics and CPU, such as PCPitstop

The results of a test I have just run are on ORB - World of Performance
It doesn't give any clues as to why it is so bad does it?
Copy of post on the general 3Dmark thread
Looking at your FPS values it is clear why mine are so sh*te - the thing never ran over 7 fps in any test and I should be doing better than this given the spec of the system. Joshua has been helping with this and I will post this same message on that thread too.
Looks as if that might be the problem - but what do I do about it??

will you run a PCPitstop test and let me know your scores mate. That will give us a fair idea of what is going on, and if we should just disregard the 3DMark or not.

I'd say that's a very good score mate. I get around 5500 so you are on the right track. In my opinion I would just disregard the 3DMark06 score

I might try this again with the multiple monitors disabled - I think this is what screwed up the 3Dmark score.
