Post your 3D Mark01/06 scores here

I thought I would create a thread where we can all show off our 3D mark scores.

I'm using the 2001 version, you may be using the 06, it doesn't really matter.

I'll get things started, here's mine:

System Specs:

CPU: Intel Pentium D
PSU (Power Supply Unit): Corsair 520 watt
Motherboard: Asus P5VD2-VM SE
Memory: Corsair 2GB DDR2
Hard Disk: Western Digital Caviar SE16 SATA II 250GB
Video Card: ATI X1950 PRO

Not too bad, and suits me fine. I'm sure there are plenty people here who will get better than me.

Any offers to buy me a new computer?

Regards Jason

I need a new cpu and graphics card I reckon, my old Celeron and 8400GS are kinda bottlenecking it. I would get 2 extra gb's of ram if I knew the proper capacity of my mobo, in my manual it says 2gb on one page and 4gb on the other.

i didn't do too badly in my own 3dmark06 test. 10285 marks. but i was using only the free version, and i left all options at default, and my max resolution is 1280x1024 at the moment. that may make a difference.

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66ghz non OCed
Geforce 9600gt 512mb factory overclocked 700mhz core 1900mhz RAM
2 gigabytes GSkill ddr2 800mhz
160 gigabyte Western Digital 7200rpm SATA II
MSI P-35 Neo-Combo-F motherboard
500watt Antec Earthwatts

Nice. I too left all settings at default. I got exactly the same score on the full version as the free version. I could get about 15,000 I reckon if I overclocked but I don't feel as though I need to so I have everything running at stock

neither do i, especially since my system is only a few months old. still very very new. and i don't feel like voiding any warranties for just a few extra frames that I don't need. if my system keeps on giving me between 40 and 75 frames on every game like it has been, then i'm happy.

I agree. The human eye can't see over a certain amount anyway so what's the point in straining your computer over something you won't see any actual difference with. As long as my games are hitting 60+ i'm fine

i probably haven't even seen the top performance for my video card. certain cards are adapted better for certain resolutions and i might be holding back my card by forcing it to go down to 1280x1024. i'd like to see what it can do at 1600x1200, but i need a new monitor...$285 on newegg, and i barely have $2 to my name.

Haha, I know what you mean, it's all about money. If you're a computer enthusiast, you need deep pockets to support it . Luckily I have a 22" monitor which can go above that resolution, and the graphics look great nothing special though IMO I only play few games anyway. I'm no benchmark maniac and i'm happy with how my computer runs. I'm not gonna strain my computer and my bank balance over a few pointless 3D marks to brag about, that'll just be sub-standard in 6 months time.

i'm well and truly done with 1280x1024. i never want to see this resolution ever again. it's the only resolution i've used for the last 7 years because it was the max that every monitor i had could support. and i've gone through about 3 so far. two of them were the huge, heavy flat screens, and the one i'm using right now is a flat panel a friend of mine gave to me and it's the best flat panel we have in the house really. there's a 19 inch lying around somewhere but it's got a dead pixel right in the middle and i'm so OCD i can't use it for more than 5 minutes before going insane. that and it supports some of the weirdest resolutions i've seen.

so i don't really want a new one for the benchmarking or anything like that. i just want it for the resolutions and the quality that i've always wanted.

Well here is my 3D mark score. Seems that this thread has died a bit. I guess I will reopen it.
I used 3dmark01, it was a smaller download size than 06. I didn't feel like waiting.
I will most likely do 06 to though. Just have to download it first.

Can't see that pic to good though. but it says that I got 23555 points. not bad. but considering it was 01 version I pretty much shredded through that no problem.
