Can You Make A Profit With Call Accounting?

It appears to me that I make a loss on most call accounting system I install. I earn a profit on the deal but the service costs kill it. I've tried several different systems and the result is similar, service and customer support expenses are what kills me. Can anyone* make a profit on call accounting , if you can how?
