Problems with MSN

Recently I was invited to upgrade my Windows Live Messenger to Version 2009. Since I have done it, it hasn't worked. I have used the correct password and I have even gone through the process of changing my password. I get no error message it just refreshes and waits for a password. I have tried re-installing but to do that I have to remove it with add remove programs but it isn't there to remove.
Windows messenger still workd ok but it doesn't have the sam features.
Has anyone had this problem?

You should also make sure you have the latest updates installed as well.

You could try emptying your temp files with ATF cleaner

ATF-Cleaner.exe - www.atribune.org

So many people are having problems with the new version, it's ridiculous.

Do a system restore like Donna did and just use the old version, the new one is stupid anyway.

hmm ive been using the new one just fine fingers crossed it stays that way... but I really don't see the point in "upgrading" it, really all they have done is made it look preatty, i seriously have not seen any new functions that make it work better as such...

Include the new MSN into the exceptions of your firewall and antivirus program, if you don't it cannot connect
