Our first collie died about 10 years ago and we replaced her with Bella after a year of an empty house. Could not stand it but it took months to find a known good breeder. I met him with his dogs, one of which is the father of ours (her mum is still alive but at the farm) and he took one look at Bella and told me I should never have had that dog as she would have won prizes as a worker.
I still miss the first one as she grew up with the kids when they were little and was a brilliant dog. One of her puppies went to Cley.
