Hiya mate.
We currently have enough moderators at this time.
However, once we have a lot more members, we may need some more mods.
Help out as much as you can and you never know what may happen.

We already have a fair few mods now, mate, but when we need more you'll be on the list
As Jase says - aim for the special titles to begin with, if you fill the requirements then you'll be a specially titled member in no time

For a user to become a moderator is by request, Its by a member of staff asking you.
As howard said Quote: |
once we have a lot more members.
| Then someone will be asked, but only asked after a long review of members

Not to be rude on this site, I was told by an expert of a larger support forum, That you do not just give positions to people that have no known knowledge of the site itself, for example on how to edit, modify, move, delete topics that are posted on the site by it's members.
Also, Try and give them a course to run if you choose these people that have no prior knowledge... You do it like making a 1 page site on how it is all done, Basically a tutorial or atleaset something they can download to try it out?
I am not too sure but it what i was told, so no offence.

How about this? I don't want to be a moderator - I am content to be part of what is going on and to help out when I can. I have to earn a living so cannot be here all the time anyway! I came from TechSpot because I was invited - but I have to admit I have not been rude enough yet to get chucked off TechSpot. I am working on it.

I am not too sure but it what i was told, so no offence. | We all are experienced in what we do, e.g. Howard and Evil are the security team, They have passed the MWR Course. Dave is almost finished there.
Jason has experience with Hardware and software.
