lol You are so goofy! But yeah, what do you do on the computer other than operate it. I'm assuming you work as an Independence Contractor unless you are actually employed?
I use to work as a Independence Contractor, which is what I'm curious to know. |

Night Lady Dotty,
I know how it is on the night shift. Have been there many-a-time in the past. When I worked for a major telecom company, as management, we had to be long distance operators during employee strikes. I remember working strictly on night shift (it paid much more). I happened to handle several oversees calls and learned an awful lot about telephones around the world. Some places, usually villages, had only one telephone in the village, and often if someone from Canada was calling that place, the local proprietor of the telephone had to send a 'runner' to find the person in the village for whom the called was being made.
Other times I worked night shift repairing digital transmission lines or installing telephone service to the main switching machine in a central switching centre.
Enough 'bragging'. Just wanted you to have something to read in your spare time, OK Dotty. Do you work at home? or did I miss the answer to that one already?

I must say I enjoy the night shift, it's less hectic and as you say, the pay is better. Seems you had an interesting job too!
I work for a huge company, the only work I do at home is pop the kettle on!
G'night Walt, catch up with you after some beauty sleep.

it's for any topic surrounding chit chat you like as my Announcement thread got a little off topic
not that it would ever normally happen, I mean, would we ever hijack? Quote:

neither do I, it's not my intention to mislead anyone but people do tend to ask why I'm up very late as you have probably noticed.. and so I tell the truth without breaching my privacy which I'm sure most would understand..

but as it stands now, I can tell you that I am retired and work at home.

I think I may know, which is something I use to do but not anymore. But I'll just leave it at that.
