New toolbar that includes quick links to areas of TST including Todays Posts, Arcade, RSS Feeds plus Online Radio Stations and an e-mail notifier and much more.
If you would like a quick link added just post it here and I will adjust the settings.
If you don't like toolbars then don't install it. It's malware free from Conduit.com |

It is pretty neat! Wasn't sure I would like it but I'm having fun tweaking it out so far. I'm still open to ideas for buttons anyone would like to see added. Can be to any web site, not just limited to TST. I added the BitDefender Online Scanner (my favorite online scanner)

I changed the text to black so hopefully everyone can see it.

Firefox here.
The radio works but not all the stations and some seem like they are going to load but just continue "loading" ???
edit: same with IE.

Neat toolbar and without all the overhead you usually get. I would use the radio but for some reason my sound card is in a mood an will only play some types of audio files and then only when it feels like it.

I like the toolbar very much. Most radio stations work ... sound is good but my favourite feature is the "todays posts" as I never could find it before .... |

I can assure you now, that "Today's Posts" is definitely under "Quick Links".
New Posts is for members' only. It's the way vBulletin operates by default, and I really don't think they need to see it, really.

How I understand it is this:
"New posts" are the posts that are new to each individual member only.
There would be no way to differentiate between individual guests and what was new to them.
eg: if new posts were read by one guest the next guest would see none as they had been read already by "guest".

Just an FYI (not that I understand it)
When NOT logged in, using the TST toolbar, I can click on "Todays posts" and get this:
Note: that there are some already "read"
I believe or my understanding is that even NOT logged in, TST cookies are saved between (guest) visits, ya?
Without the TST toolbar, I'd have to log in to read "Today's or New Posts" as there's no clicky link for guests (as noted by Jason) and I agree, unnecessary.
Not logged in, cannot see a drop down menue for Quick links (members only, ya?)
and when logged in ... walah "Quick links" appears and in it, "New Posts" (not necessessarily "Today's" if one wasn't logged in yesterday)
AnyHOO .... I'm very pleased with the Toolbar as is as it suits me and "my habits" very well. | | | Only registered members can participate in forum threads. You must register or log in to contribute. All times are GMT. The time now is 09:33 AM.
