As you know, I'm a bike enthusiastic. And I wonder if here is someone else who like bikes? Or what do you who does not have a bike think about bikers?
I have ridden with bikes for 3 years now. Only with small ones because you have to be 21 for riding the cool stuff (15yrs old: Max 50cc, max top speed 45kph/28mph, 16yrs old: Max 125cc, max 14hp, 18yrs old: Max 33hp, 21yrs old: No restrictions)
I'm riding at the moment with a Yamaha XT125X. Top speed about 110kph/68mph.
The bike is for sale if someone interested (2700€/2130£/4234$)
In my town no biker is sane We have had this summer already 10 killed motorists... That's why my mother didn't speak to me for 2 weeks when I got my bike

Damn, What a ride!!
Me and my friend actually have as hobby to build some small bikes And I have been in a accident about a year ago. (It was not my fault) Broke my left arm and right leg and my neck got some injury that is permanent.
And i use public transport on winter... Cant drive two wheelers when it's snow and ice. But then I love to drive snowmobile cross. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5K95kRJ-nU (that one is filmed in norway, im not there, but there you see what snowcross is)
I alwasy participate on my home town race :P
Here's a pic of my and my friends build bike. (Photo taken on a bike show. People said we were crazy and had too much spare time )
Suzuki PV 50 chassy, Suzuki GSX '98 1100cc engine. Some minimoto handle. Custom SELF MADE exhaust. Top speed ~180kph/~112mph. Slipon by Yoshimura. And a lot of other self made and self welded parts
At the moment we have another project going on, with a 250cc Skyteam engine and a pv chassy.

Thats my bike. Well same model and year. Its not actually mine.
A TTR 225 Yahmaha. It probably has a top speed of 55 or so maybe.
I really really want a nice sport bike. Yet Can't really afford that and a truck. So the truck is gonna have to do for now.
My bike is broken at the moment. Something with the carburetor I think. Not very mechanically inclined. Better with computers. lol
Is it legal to ride on the road when your 15? You can't get your permit here until 16.

Those are jsut in the way, and the license is so easy to get, like from a cheerios box. When you get 16 you can get a A1 license in drivers school, then you get automatic higher license status when you get older. Kinda hard to explain.
Nice ride you have! Just what symptoms do the bike have?
What symptoms. Well I will try to explain.
At first it would do it just every once in a while. But when I hit the throttle some times. Mostly going up little hills and what not it would like "bog" down.
Now I can't even hit the throttle with out it doing it. That is probably the best word to use, "bog". Almost like not getting gas to it. But it does. I can hit the throttle very lightly and be able to go. I have had a couple of people tell me it might be the carburetor.
Ehh.. okish ride I guess. Kind of heavy and not fast at all.
Or at least not any more. used to be fast when I first got it. Now I need something bigger!!
I think I may get a off road on road bike some time. Then I can ride it to work and stuff. Gets better gas mileage than my Ford Ranger truck.

yes. This is a bit off topic, but find this funny. My teacher at drivers club said that on summer, we boys should concentrate on the road and not on the girls with light clothing He said that it have ended many motorists lives
Nah its not that its not getting enough air. I have a nice K&N air filter on it. We did think of taking it out and trying it though. But I don't think its that. Ah well. Will figure it out when I .... eventually... take it apart.

I had a few bikes in my youth. I started out at 16 on a Yamaha FS1E Custom, then there was a gap until I was 18, when I moved to London and got a job as a courier on a Honda C90 until i passed my test and got myself a Honda CX500.
After another 3 year break I moved back to London and back to the courier work, firstly on a Euro import Honda CBX250, which sadly got mangled under a double-decker bus (I bounced off the front of the bus luckily, only four weeks in the hospital)
Once i could ride again, I bought a Yamaha XJ 900 from my brother which was perfect for the job. With an after-market full-fairing, I could cruise the motorways at 90mph in all weathers.
After 2 years and 9 months, and nearly 120,000 miles, it broke my heart when an uninsured woman cut me up and wrote-off my honey. (again I was lucky, letting go of the bars and doing a triple-somersault thru the air)
I also owned, briefly, a Yamaha RD250, and a tricked out Yamaha FZR1000Exup, and a Yamaha FJ1200.
One day, no matter what the good lady says, I will get another bike, and now Im pushing 40 my heart is set on a harley-engined custom, because Ive lost interest in sports bikes.

Respect man! A true biker heart you have my friend!
It was supposed to have a top speed of about 70mph but mine was capable of over 135mph.
Because it was heavily race tuned it wasn't very reliable and became very expensive to maintain so I had to get shot of it.
I miss it to this day.
It looked a little like this one except it had a completely blue seat and dark metallic blue paintwork. http://www.bikeshop.ro/uploads/file_03049_phpwpiFZm.jpg
It also has no head fairing and had a big round headlight instead of the small rectangular one (which you can't actually see in that picture).
Referring to post #7, Sam, i had an old honda cg125 that did the exact same thing. It was caused by a worn out needle in the carb. It was always causing the engine to flood slightly and made accelerating a nightmare. I fitted a new needle and it was fine afterwards. Hope that helps.
