You made your own exhaust manifold? That's pretty cool if I do say so myself

I have a Kawasaki BN125, which was meant to be going on eBay tonight but it looks like it'll be tomorrow now hehe. Funnily enough I found it on eBay 2 years ago

Picture post tomorrow because I need to head off really

Thanks for that info Rik! I guess now I need to find some time to take the thing apart.

My brother's was the same. It had the red and white Yamaha race paint scheme of the day (83 K Roberts) and went like s**t off a hot shovel, but broke down a lot.

My Fizzy had been tuned by the previous owner too, but didnt last long.

If your carb has a screw on cap then the needle is not hard to get at.
Make a note of which notch the C clip is on if the needle has more than one notch. Fitting it in the wrong notch will cause it to run far worse.

If the needle appears not to be worn and is perfectly straight (a bent needle will also cause your symptoms) then you may want to think about replacing the jet.

I hope that helps in some way.

Scotty, sounds nice. Mine was blindingly quick and would wheelie in first, second, and third if i didn't lean forward heavily.
