Wink Oldies Basket Case Britain Thread

Recent, only in Blighty, daftness

It could only happen in bonkers Britain. The Guardian, a British left of centre pseudo-intellectual newspaper which represents most of what is wrong with basket case Britain, has produced a six-page article quoting various one-eyed half-baked feminist writers expressing their concern that Heather Mills McCartney has made it hard for potential supporters to stick up for her. Nevertheless, they still attempt to do so. As a result the article tries to explain why people in Britain and beyond love to hate Heather rather than accepting that the woman is truly awful in just about every aspect of her low character.

The lunatics are still running the asylum

Government minister Jim Knight says that class sizes of 70 are acceptable.

Children as young as 10 are to sit on panels and monitor their teachers’ skills.

More than 30 teenage girls are having repeat abortions each week. Some are on their sixth or seventh.

A London priest was beaten up and put in hospital because his church should be turned into a mosque according to the Moslem gang who stamped on his head.

A prisoner told Justice Minister Jack Straw that prisons were “just like a holiday camp”. They must be as the queue to get into them is so great that more than 18,000 prisoners have been released early in order to accommodate it. The result has been that a huge number of those tossed out simply re-committed crimes, including murder, in order to get back in again.

Scores of Labour MPs have voted for the government plan to close post offices while hypocritically campaigning in their constituencies to keep them open

A serial paedophile, who has lived all his life in Australia, was allowed into Britain.

To be continued, but feel free to add to

Oh YES now this one really takes the biscuit.

In basket case Blighty (that's Britain ) voices are being heard saying that sex education, having failed to bring about the desired effect and having succeeded in achieving altogether undesirable outcomes, should start at the age of FOUR. Bet your bottom £ that the outcome of this will be even less desirable, as toddlers are introduced, well before they should be, to the magic of sexuality under the guise of sex.

You read it here at TSTs first. Wait for abortions at the age of eight. There is this madness, you see. Teach kiddies about sex and what happens when a willie meets a wallie and, boys being boys, if the constellations are in the right places, a baby, which we were once told flew home on the wings of a stork, will be on its way. Don't worry, dear. We'll go to the abortion centre down the road next to Sainsbury's, but do pay closer attention during your sexual health lessons. A sign of times to come? We are well on the way to what C.S. Lewis called, in a book title, the abolition of man

Yup, the world and more locally, the UK has gone barking mad mate.

I`d like to take all these pc liberal do goodie gooders and throw them off of a very high cliff.

It used to be a case of carrot and stick. Unfortunately, they took away the stick, so is it any wonder why we`re in the situation we`re in.

Regards Howard

What a tragic waste of life.

This simply cannot be allowed to continue. Children and youths, think they are virtually untouchable and under today`s laws, they pretty much are.

There`s no discipline or respect in schools any more and if the kids don`t get it at school and don`t get it at home, they`re just going to grow up wild and that`s exactly what`s happening.

When I was a lad, if we got caught doing something by an adult, they gave us a clip round the ear, or worse still took us home to our parents. Hell, even the local bobby(policeman), would give us a clip. It definitely made us more respectful.

I`m not advocating beating kids senseless, but there has to be a line that doesn`t get crossed, otherwise we just end up with anarchy, which is pretty much what we have right now.

Regards Howard

Not to be outdone in this climate of institutional madness Lloyds-TSB, once a bank of common sense, decided to mail debit cards direct to children as young as 11 without telling their parents. This has resulted in them being able to buy cheap cigarettes, Viagra, pornography and fake adult IDs, etc., on line. Could this happen anywhere but in basket case Britain, do I hear you ask? You know the answer

Diagnosis too late for cancer mum

A young mother has been given months to live after a hospital failed to diagnose that she had skin cancer.

Tara Jones, 26, of Treorchy in the Rhondda, was given the all-clear by the Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Llantrisant after having a mole removed in 2005.
