Dateline Friday England mucklands - not raining yet but it will. Guaranteed as I am at an open air concert this evening.......

even though yesterday was wet, it was possible to go for a walk with my grandson to 'gilley law' angling lakes as it was still very warm. in addition we got to eat some wild blackcurrants and raspberries.

never mind : today is cooler, overcast and you guessed it RAINING! temps about 18c.
seems I've seen that somewhere before.

this lake is 0.55mile around. one of two.

Dido & Aeneas at Grange Park Concerts in Leicestshire - a bit heavy for me but it is a great event. But only if it is not too cold!

Thanks Tom - it had better be as the management ('er indoors) is a somewhat unwilling accomplice to this one!

Weather is pretty much as it has been for what seems like forever. Cold, grey and wet. In all honesty, I can`t remember a summer as bad as this one in all my life.

Hmm... maybe it is time to re-think the way we order our seasons with this global warming?

It was raining here not so long ago, but now the sun is starting to come out -- I wonder how long for tho'?

Well the British summer starts at the end of July and finishes at the beginning of August so hopefully week after next it'll be alright

Been in Coventry today, weather was mostly cloudy apart from a bit of rain mid-afternoon. Quick showers, really.

Forecast is looking good I'm buying tools tomorrow so want it to be nice as there will be driving involved hehe so I want to be able to go round with my mate having the windows down

It's 101°F here in sunny CA and not a drop of rain in sight. Looks like I kept all that rain locked in Nelson hehe.
