It doesn't take 6 hours to get to here from Oxford! It would have been quicker if I'd have gone to the depot after I got up... at 11.30.

Ooh, I forgot to put something on-topic in that post hehe, I was going to edit it but forgot that as well
ForecastFox says Rain, 9C, south westerly wind at 8m/s. Not sure how many mph that is hehe.
Pretty much the same forecast for the next 2 days but with less wind and 10C instead of 9.
If a mass weighing 10kg's on a flat, smooth surface, assuming no friction, was outside with the 8m/s wind bowing against it parallel to the ground, what acceleration speed would the mass experience?

took me a while to figure this one out: Decided each facility timestamps using their own timezone. So the package left Ohio at 4:55am and arrived in Phoenix at 4:12am. DHL "faster than time".

I think he means about my DHL pic hehe
Update: It literally turned up 10 minutes ago. I wasn't given a time for delivery, but I've had to stay in all day for this.

Dave - that is not impressive from DHL - that driver should have been doing his collections by now! I hope the wait was worth it!

It was definitely worth it mate, but I was pretty annoyed at how long it took. I might actually complain to them as I have never had a delivery come this late, ever.

Well if it is an indoor thing you have a good excuse for enjoying it - it's bl**dy raining again!

Same here mate.
It was fine when I got up, but low and behold, almost as soon as I took the dog out, it started raining again.

My dog hates bad weather and takes ages to do what he needs, which just means me and him both get even wetter grrrr.
He`s an English Mastiff.

Plus as I was fiddling with the electrics and whatnot, I couldn't put the key in to get the fans going so it was a bit nippy as well
I don't want to put my speakers in when it's raining because I'm going to need to take the bottom part of the door card off (the bit with the pocket is a separate piece which makes it a whole lot easier), and I don't want water getting in. That darned rain!

Yeah he is a big dog, he weighs 11stone and eats about 4 or 5 lbs of food a day.

@Dave - as you know I'm always ready with advice - just that when you take the panelling off the doors use as wide a lever as you can to stop damage to the panel itself anto stop tearing the pegs off. I hate to say this, but you may need to lie on the ground to see where these pegs are so that you can tease them out. Whatever you do, do not rush it!
@Howard - that dog is bigger than my missus and eats more too! Still, might be a bit cheaper if it doesn't enjoy the G&Ts!

That's not a problem, mate, the bottom part of the door panel comes off with 7 screws It's literally going to be unscrew the cover, take out old speakers, put in new ones, screw on cover.
Now for an on topic comment Windows Sidebar says it's 7C now, not too bad for the evening, really. Not raining any more, fortunately

If I knew it was going to be so warm today I surely wouldn't have worn a sweater today. It got up to 71° and bright and sunny. The weather is supposed to take a turn for cooler temps this weekend. | | | Only registered members can participate in forum threads. You must register or log in to contribute. All times are GMT.
