It is a nice walk indeed mate Can only go that way when it's light and dry, otherwise you'll walk into branches and get stuck in mud

There is a pub in the village I live in, but I don't go there much hehe, plus it's only a 15 min walk over the fields to the other one.

Not bad weather here today, bit sunny, but a bit rainy too. I can't tell if it's overcast or clear again

No problem at all mate I knew that pic would come in handy eventually hehe.

Yeah they're quite nice houses here, they're pretty much all the same for this bit of the street but some people have put extensions on and whatnot

Glad you liked it.

Well, apart from the odd shower, it`s been a lovely day and nice and warm. I managed to take the dog for a nice walk in the countryside without getting wet wOOt.

Hopefully, it`ll be more of the same tomorrow.

Regards Howard

Dateline Tuesday English Mudflaps = great day, sun warm on my back - the joys of wireless networking into the garden. mainly because I have to use the laptop as my office machine is kaput. More about that on another thread

Same here too. What another great day!

Anyway, I'm off to get the new stoke city shirt, and few other things while I'm at it.

Another great sunny day! (18°C currently)

I really should find something to do outside.

Edit: well, a bit cloudy right now, but still great.

My dog will have to wait for an hour or two as I have work to do. Still, we are promised decent weather this week so maybe a decent walk every day! Outside temp 21.5 and climbing slowly - compared with this time last week it is hardly believable!

Tell me about it mate! It was snowing last month as well!

The motor read 26C when I went into town to get some car bits hehe. Got back home and it was 22

Unfortunately it will rain tomorrow and it'll be my fault, because I washed and polished the car today. Sorry guys!

On the way into town a stone hit my windscreen (must have been very hard) and cracked it - there's a chip with about 7 or 8 cracks coming out of it - so I'm going to have to get a new one :frown: Fortunately it's covered by my insurance, but I still have to pay £75. It's less than doing it without the insurance, but still annoying either way!

Yeah mate, it is :frown:

Still, at least it's not £150 or whatever it is if I did it direct to the company (I think they use Auto Glass)

Only time will tell here if our summer will be any good or turn into a damp squib.

Sorry to hear about your windscreen Dave.

Regards Howard

I agree mate, there's no knowing really It usually turns out alright though.

Cheers, it's a bit annoying but didn't get any worse when I was on the dual carriageway on the way home so I don't think it's going to shatter tomorrow or anything, as I expect it's just cracked the top layer because you can't feel it on the inside. I'll call up the insurance though and get them over

Might be repairable depending on where it is. Look on it this way - at least you can replace the glass, not the case if this rock had come up the bonnet (= hood, chick) at you. Still. it is a pain in the butt.
