One of my friends (and a client too!) is an animal behaviourist. She says it is better not to make a fuss and just pretend it is all perfectly normal (which it is) and try and distract the dog with a favourite toy to play with.
My collie bounces round the garden barking at the sky to make it go away.
The mogs is not so brave and hides under the bed (with me)

16C at the moment and it's been raining on and off most of the day, big grey clouds overhead! I don't think it is at the moment, I got rained on on the way back to the office yesterday :lol:
