I personally will wait until more people have tested these devices before taking the plunge.
As an example, a friend of mine got a sata1 drive the moment they came out. It only worked for a few weeks before frying. He had a lot of sensive data on that drive and so did not send it back for repair or replacement. That was a lot of money down the drain.
